- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
